Step 1: In-Processing

A Communication Foundation

In-Processing kicks off your partnership with the National Guard. During In-Processing, each Family should be assigned a sponsor. We know that your welfare and wellbeing are contributing factors in a National Guard Member's ability to effectively perform their assigned mission. Whether you are providing your Family's information or receiving information from your State Family Program Office about upcoming events, In-Processing creates a sturdy base for the Family Program.

You share important contact information by filling out a form of vital Family information. This allows the National Guard to keep you up-to-date with the following:

  • Contact information for your Service Member's unit
  • Information about Family Readiness Groups (FRGs)/Key Volunteer Programs
  • News about upcoming meetings and activities

For any specific questions, please contact your Family Program Office
