Chief, Office of Warrior Support, National Guard Bureau: Michael Conner, Sr.

The Chief is responsible for developing policy, programs, and training in support of National Guard members and their families relating to the Department of Defense TRICARE program and Department of Veteran Affairs entitlements. He is the principal advisor to the Chief, National Guard Bureau; the Director, National Guard Bureau Joint Staff; and the National Guard Bureau J1 on all issues related to TRICARE and veteran programs. Additionally, he provides program management and oversight of the Transition Assistance Advisor program and coordinates with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense to improve benefits delivery and transition efforts of Guard members and their families.
