NEW* 2018 Vet Centers
We are happy to announce a great outreach initiative that provides free counseling resources for our National Guard service members and their families. Over 300 Veteran Centers (Vet Center Outreach Initiative Memo 4 Oct 18.pdf) will be coordinating with each of our states to provide counseling services during agreed-upon drill weekends, annual training and other training events. This builds upon several strong relationships many of the states already have with Vet Centers through our Yellow Ribbon Reintegration and other outreach events. Vet Centers across the country provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to combat Veterans and their families. Vet Centers guide Veterans and their families through many of the major adjustments in lifestyle that often occur after a Veteran returns from combat. All services are free of cost and are strictly confidential.

A message from a Father about making connections.."no one could put two and two together and come up with four"..and asking hard questions..."..be a friend" #BeThere. Thank You for sharing, Mr. Crupe
"Susan tells the story of her husband, an Air National Guardsman who died by suicide, and the aftermath of coming to terms with their newfound reality. She gives an honest message of their loss, while beautifully emphasizing the hope for the future, for each of us, and encourages all of us to reach out if needed."
